* In order to not have to apply for planning permission, an outbuilding (including sheds) with a floor area between 15 - 30 m2 needs to be located at least 1 metre away from any property boundary, and cannot contain any sleeping accommodation.

Any outbuilding (including sheds) with a floor area
less than 15 m2, which contains no accommodation for sleeping,
will
not normally require planning permission, and can be located less than 1 metre away from any property boundary.

Outbuildings (including sheds) must not exceed 50% of the total area of land ("curtilage") around the original house on the property.

Outbuildings (including sheds) must be single story, with a maximoum eaves height of 2.5m, and a maximum overall height of 4m with a dual-pitched (apex) roof, or 3m in any other case. If the outbuilding (shed) is within 2m of the property boundary, the whole building should not exceed 2.5m in height.

If any of these height restrictions are exceeded, planning permission will normally be required. All of the sheds in Lanlee's Premium Range meet these height restrictions, so no planning permission should be required.
