Shiplap timber cladding is made from a quality certified softwood, and has been pre-treated with Tanalith E preservative to help prevent rot and insect infestation.

Timber cladding can be left to weather naturally, or it can be painted with a solvent based paint such as Cuprinol Shiplap Stain. Please note: water based stains/paints such as Cuprinol Timber Care range are not suitable for use on our Shiplap timber cladding.

Cladding board size after machining is 14mm x120mm, and each board covers 110mm. We recommend fitting timber cladding with galvanised or sheradised nails and painting over the heads of the fixings once fitted.
